Helmut Pfaffenroth (꙳ July 22, 1910 in Ebingen - †?). NSDAP member No. 353881 and SS No. 4451) listed as SS-Hstuf. from November 9, 1941, relegated to the rank of SS-Osch. In SS-Sdr-Btl. Dirlewanger from January 10 to July 22, 1943, where he received EK 2 on August 14, 1943, returned as SS-Stubaf. and became Adj.HSSPF Ost. As Hans Frank's adjutant, Helmut Pfaffenroth took to Bavaria three boxes of works of art selected by the governor, including the "Portrait of Lady" Lucas Cranach the Elder from the Wilanow collection. After the war, he was released to Poland, where, on February 11, 1948, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison in Krakow. After only three years, he was released on December 19, 1951.
