Hi,

Cigarette card. Potsdam 1932.
Who is this SS-officer behind von Schirach? Might be Kurt Daluege?
Thanks,

Andrey.

The political leader shown is a very low ranking member in a Orts level position based on his collar tabs and armband. Hence no one of importance. Sorry.

Dear Mark,
thank you for your valued opinion. Below, just as a supplement for any incidental future identification, two details. Can you make out the collar tab?

That apart, can you or anyone else identify these individuals? I mean the person to the left of Friedrich Uebelhoer, the photo is from 1939, as well as the person marked in the photo at a Appell of Litzmannstädter SS, presumably in 1940.
Thanks,
Jan

In the first photo with the X is Gauleiter Arthur Greiser wearing his SS-Gruppenführer uniform. The second photo shows SS-Obergruppenführer August Heißmeyer. And the two others is definitely a very low ranking Hauptstellenleiter at Kreis level.

This photo shows a "Nordland" SS-Sturmbannführer. It has been taken after 16th June 1944, but before the Tannenberg-Stellung battle.
Any idea of who he could be?
My guess is that he is SS-Stubaf. Siegfried Conrad, commander of SS-Wi.Btl.11, but I need a confirmation.
Thanks a lot for your help,
Charles

Hello Charles,

The SS-Stubaf. is Otto Vollmar, I have the whole photo and all beside one is identified.

Best regards
Georg
Hello Georg,

Thanks a lot for your identification. Unfortunately, it came too late as I have published the photo with a caption identifying him as Siegfried Conrad as I had an earlier confirmation that he was Conrad. Too bad !

Hello Charles,

I am sorry if I was carrier of bad news. I have two photos from this occasion, it was when Gläsker recieved his DkIG and if you look in thread I created about SS-Stubag Otto Vollmar you will find a link to my blog with the other photo and the names of the officers.

Best regards
Georg

Hi guys,

I noticed this SS-Obersturmbannführer in the youtube video (link below) and wondering if someone can identify him. The video should be taken by US Army War correnspondent during the surrender of the remnants of 2. SS Panzer Division "Das Reich" near Pilsen in Czechoslovakia on 8 May 1945.

He is wearing the KVK I. Klasse with swords and the Wound Badge in Black so it could be possibly some logistics officer or at least not from combat unit? By his ribbon bar, he also wears Sudetenland and Anschluss Medals, but I cannot recognize the rest.

link for video:

Anyone recognize him?

Thanks

Tony
