I totally agree with Jan-Hendrik but that's obvious I guess since I did mention this many times already, every bit of info is welcome.

I've a question about Erwin Teedla by the way. Since he was serving in the Estonian Division I presumed he was an Estonian but now I see in the post of FMG that he was born in Russia. So what was he, a Russian citizen or an Estonian born in Russia????

I have a different DoB for Teedla, 2.April instead of 2.August 1908...

Hello FMG,

Thanks for telling us about Teedla, so he was an Estonian but born in Russia....
And about that DoB, well, everybody can make mistakes. I'll change it right away as well since I wrote your date in my files.....

Hello Jan-Hendrik,
You wrote:
“In the standard work on german veterinarian service in WW2, Zieger, Wilhelm: Das deutsche Heeresveterinärwesen im Zweiten Weltkrieg topic Waffen-SS is covered on only 3 pages...”.
Could you post the photocopies of the three pages you’ve mentioned? I’m very interested in the matter of to the mule or horse-drawn transport in the Waffen-SS (see http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 0&t=135970 ) and therefore in this topic.
And, yes, You’re right writing that “It seems the veterinarian service of the Waffen-SS is rather a undiscovered land”.
Thank You in advance,
Giorgio
