I have two different places of birth of SS-Stubaf dr.Ernst Jahr (born 12.06.1909, SS nr.86155, NSDAP nr.196793):
- Schwerin (Ernst Klee "Das Personenlexikon zum Dritten Reich")
- Cramon (F.MacLean "The Field Men")
Which is correct?

It's an old thread but SS-Stubaf. Ernst-Hermann Hans Konrad Karl Jahr was born indeed in Cramon Kreis Schwerin.

Died 16.01.1980 in Lemgo.

Jahr was another SS officer with ties to religion - his father was an "evangelische Pfarrer"

I wonder if he was interned by the US or British authorities after the war.

Jahr was interned in the British Zone (no Detention Report) and this comes from JuNSV, Bd XVII, Lfd 521, pp 747-788
April 1945, “angeblicher einfacher Zollgrenzschutzmann ohne Dienstgrad einer Zollgrenzschutzeinheit in Husum”
May 1945, the unit dissolved and he went to a farm at Cäcilienkoog bei Bredstedt/Schleswig-Holstein
12 Dec 1945, arrested by British forces and interned
25 Jan 1947, Spruchgericht Bielefeld sentenced to 7 years imprisonment for membership of a criminal
organisation
5 Oct 1950, released from Strafhaft; but the Ministerpräsident of NR-W requested he complete his prison sentence
in a civilian prison and he was not released until 13 Oct 1953
25 Sept-12 Oct 1961 tried (with Gerke and Krumbach) on charges of Beihilfe zum Mord before Schwurgericht beim LG Darmstadt, convicted and sentenced to 3 years 6 months Zuchthaus. (Charges involved killings with Einsatzkommando Tilsit in July-Aug 1941)
