Mitglied der Devlag und im V.N.V. Ortsgruppenleiter: seit 10.1940
Eintritt in die Waffen-SS (SS-Legion Flandern): 17.04.1943
3. Lehrg.f.germ.Offz. (SS-Junkerschule Tölz): 18.10.1943 – 11.03.1944
Aufkl.Abt.11: (02.1944)
5./6. SS-Frw.Sturm Brig.: 10.06.1944

Married Elsa Poters (geb. 22.07.1913 in Vosselaar): 24.04.1935. 2 daughters (geb. 19.08.1936 und 29.08.1937).

I got this information from John P. Moore’s “Führerliste der Waffen-SS.”

Thank you very much for the answer! I have not found anything in his SS-personnel file to hint at a possible attachment to or even intended service with SS-Pz.Aufkl.Abt.11. The date stated by Mr. Moore is in conflict with the officers course, where his participation can be confirmed through several documents.

Below is from a document listing officers of the 3.Lehrgangs für germanische Offiziere an der Junkerschule Tölz mit Wirkung vom 12.03.1944. You’ll notice Donckers is the 5th name from the top, assigned to SS-Pz.Aufkl.Ers.Abt.

Yes, indeed the document does state this. However, that is only the replacement unit administratively responsible for all practical matters (or the deparment within the Waffen-SS carrying the financial burden if you will) concerning Donckers while he attended the course and not indicative of the unit he would later serve in. Another example from that same list is Johannes Hellmers, who was also attached to the same replacement unit, but did not serve in a reconnaissance unit after this date.
From all the available information it seems that Donckers was instead attached to 6. SS-Freiwilligen-Sturmbrigade "Langemarck". One document states that at least since 10 June 1944 his address was Feldpostnummer 41 147, which belonged to SS-Feldersatz-Kompanie 56.
