Wilhelm Ostheimer, born Frankfurt a.M.

Erich Richard Lorenz
, born 10.12.1897, member of the rural police at Ermsleben, extradited by the US authorities on 25.02.1947, sentenced at Warsaw on 03.12.1948 to 3 years imprisonment for beating and abusing of the Polish citizens at Ermsleben and stalag Lamsdorf, released on 16.01.1951.

Julius Wieland
, born 25.05.1896, member of the police at Lauf, extradited by the US authorities on 25.02.1947, sentenced at Warsaw on 03.12.1948 to 2 years imprisonment for taking part in arresting and hanging of two Poles, released on 25.07.1949.

1. Hans Günther (12.04.1898 in Winne) sentenced to death (executed 16.07.1948 in Warsaw)
2. Wilhelm Ostheimer (13.06.1898 in Frankfurt/Main) sentenced to death (commuted to life imprisonment 09.07.1948, died 01.02.1949 in prison)
3. Georg Singer (29.03.1897 in Sulzbach) sentenced to death 07.01.1948 in Warsaw (commuted to life imprisonment 09.07.1948, released 31.10.1958)

Trial 03.12.1948 in Warsaw
1. Karl Friedrich Westermann (07.07.1899 in Karlsruhe) sentenced to 12 years imprisonment (released 04.11.1957)
2. Johannes Werner (14.01.1904 in Dresden) sentenced to 15 years imprisonment
3. Julius Wieland (25.05.1896) sentenced to 2 years imprisonment (released 25.07.1949)
4. Erich Richard Lorenz (10.12.1897) sentenced to 3 years imprisonment (released 16.01.1951)
5. Horst Liefländer (06.05.1926 in Rathenow) sentenced to death (commuted to life imprisonment 19.05.1949, died 02.03.1951 in prison)

Hans Günther was extradited by the US authorities on 04.09.1946
Wilhelm Ostheimer was extradited by the US authorities on 04.09.1946
Georg Singer was extradited by the US authorities on 04.09.1946

Karl Friedrich Westermann was extradited by the US authorities on 14.10.1947
Johannes Weiner-Werner was extradited by the US authorities on 25.02.1947
Horst Liefländer was extradited by the French authorities on 30.01.1948

Emil Langert (15.08.1905 in ?) sentenced by the District Court in Kalisz for murdering and tormenting civilians and prisoners, and for belonging to the German police during the occupation (released 22.11.1952?)

Leopold Urban (16.03.1913 in ?) sentenced in 1947 to 3 years imprisonment for his service in the German police in Tarnów

Arthur Steuk (17.02.1906 in ?) sentenced after the war in Poland, as an officer of the German police, abused persons of Polish nationality 1940-1943 in the town of Miasteczko

Walter Männich (26.08.1893 in ?) serving in the German police in Jarosław, Przemyśl and Cieszyn, Trial Katowice or Krakow 1946?

What is the place of birth of

I am interested in more information about three men sentenced to death in Poland after the war:

Erwin Szulc or Schulz
who mistreated Poles imprisoned in Warsaw

Adam Müller
who took part in the arrest of Poles in the Lipno district and brutally mistreated those arrested

Bronislaw Bender
member of the SS, who took an active part in armed actions against Polish partisans in the Zamojszczyzna region and brutal mistreated Polish farm workers
