Hello

Josef Brandl, member of German administration in Krakau and Lemberg, indeed extradited from US zone on 22/11/1946 but escaped from the train transport on 23/11/1946 along with few others (f.e. Boger and Toebbens).

Thanks George

I assume he avoided capture and was never prosecution for his crimes.

I am looking for information about a trial:

Oplatok or Oplatek (first name unknown) Trial Leszno 1946 death sentence
"The Leszno Special Criminal Court sentenced to death a German Oplatek/Oplatok accused of ill-treating British prisoners of war."

This was a small message from the radio (source: United Nations report)

Only Helduser and Helmschen were extradited from Germany (both by the US). I only have Helmschen as SS-Rottenführer.

I do not have their birthplaces but Danielewski was not extradited to Poland from Germany. Daas was from US zone and Czekalla by the British.

Only Anselm Anton Pilarek (correct name was Pilarek, Kobierska-Motas probably made a mistake named him as "Pilarski".) born in Laurahütte/Oberschlesien. The surname of Erhard "Polaczek" suggest that he also may have been from Silesia but i can not be sure.
