I wonder of this thread still deserves to be captioned "SS-MEN extradited to Poland"?
Meanwhile there are lots of men mentioned from the police, Gestapo and even civil servants (eg.mayors). How to continue?

Hermann Hof sentenced to 10 years imprisonment 1949 in Warsaw
Julian Maus sentenced to 8 years imprisonment 1949 in Warsaw
Werner Knoche sentenced to 6 years imprisonment 1949 in Warsaw
Karl Wolfgang (or maybe Wolfgang Karl) sentenced to 4 years imprisonment 1949 in Warsaw
Alexander Nogalski sentenced to 4 years imprisonment 1949 in Warsaw
All 5 SS men were member of the Dirlewanger unit.

Ernst Friedrich Hildebrandt, extradited from US zone to Poland on 18/12/1946, released on 14/12/1956.

Oskar Brandt, died in prison on 30/10/1948.

Looking for information on Kurt Wenzel Auschwitz guard, extradited to Krakau, sentenced to eight years. Was he released in the 1950s?

I'm sorry but i don't have any additional informations about him, except that he was convicted for membership in the SS and being a member of KL Auschwitz staff.

Willi Buth, extradited by the British authorities, born in Nowy Dwór near Chełmno or in Ostromecko. Which one is correct for sure?
Heinz Hans Schemerling, extradited by the British authorities.
Hugo Schöning, extradited by the British authorities, born in Schöning or in something like "Szniwalde" (Polish fonetical transcription, obviously incorrect).
Helmut Theodor Schulze, extradited by the US authorities, born in "Fuhler" but i can't find the place with such name.
Wladimir Switenko, Ukrainian, extradited by the US authorities.
Maksym Sywanycz, Ukrainian, extradited by the US authorities.
