Can anyone tell me where Wewlsbuuurg Castle is. I would be interested in anyone's comments who have been there about its present shape as a historical site. Is it a must see like Obersalzsburg.

Plus, an exclusive 16-page color section with 31 photographs, including a rare, never-before seen, full page of Heinrich Himmler's death mask;
Also, a fold-out showing a unique design of the "Twelve Knights of the Round Table"
A complete story of the castle's history, architecture, renovation and décor, administration, wartime fate, secrets, and extraordinary fascination that appeals to thousands of visitors each year;
Behold the coming of a National Socialist Arthurian Court, the sword Excalibur, Sir Lancelot, and Merlin;

That is suppously true,
Their was an order from Himmler i think the order was that everyone who wore the ring and shot as was to be left behind or killed in battle, if he had the Totenkopf ring of honor was to have it taken off him, the ring was then to be given to a member of the Division staff who would send it back to the RFSS staff in Prinz Albrechtsrasse Berlin, the rings would then be sent to the Castle and stored in a certain room in the castle.
Near to the room were the round table as and the 12 holes in the wall, were each of the 12 SS Table members ashes were to be placed when they died.
In early 1945, Himmler ordered that the Rings in the Castle, some reports have put that some 4-5,000 rinmgs might have been stored at the castkle at that time, were then air blasted into the side of a mountain nearby, so that the Allied soliders could not steal the rings.
Their was an order that when the ring holders died, the ring was to be sent back to the castle, and be stored in a room there.
The only thing the relatives of the wearer could keep was the award document of the ring, that the wearer got presented along with the ring when awarded it.
