Hello

In the Führervorschlag for Ernst Biesemeyer there is a SS-Untersturmführer Unsinn Andreas mentioned , part of the IKL Fahrdienstleeter IKL / SS-TV.

Is there anyone who can point me to a directione where I can find info on this SS-Ustuf., he hasn´t a SSO and is not mentioned in the SS-DAL 37 or 38.

He Is supposed to have becomed SS-Ustuf. on 30.01.1937 according the document.

Thanks in advance

Best regards
Georg

Hello Albert

SS-T.I.R wasnt part of the SS-TV , which ceased to exist in late 1939 or early 1940 when the Waffen-SS was created. SS-T.-Inf.Rgt 1 was part of the SS-Totenkopf Division.

New note about SS-Of. Johann Beck. After his service at KL Sachsenhausen he was appointed as Schutzhaftlagerführer of the KL Buchenwald, this lasted only for a few months, when he once again made a mess of himself and acted drunk in public (on a train station) and RFSS condemned him to one year as prisoner at KL Mauthausen,

Hello

Interssting to read that Hans Sander (DKiG) between 1939 and onwards served in 2.SS-TV Brandenburg. He came from the Heer and was transfered to SS-TV in april 1939. First at the stab of "Brandeburg" , but in the beginning of sept 1939 he became Kp.Fhr of the 11.Kp. Which lasted for two weeks when he became btl.Kdr of the III./2.SS-TV Brandenburg. and probably was he together with the regiment in Poland 1939. And to my knowledge the 2.SS-TV Brandenburg comitted among the first warcrimes of the whole 2WW there. One month later was he transfered to the III./SS-T.-Art.Rgt. He lasted with SS-Art.Rgt.3 until 1943 when he was transfered to the SS-Art.AuE.Rgt. but shortly after that he was once again transfered , this time to become the Rgt.Kdr of the SS-Art.Rgt.10 "Frundsberg". I have noticed that many of the officers in "Frundsberg" and "Hohenstaufen" came from the SS-T.-Div.

Best regards
