Correction:

I know that I listed K.L. Neuengamme as a pre-war K.L. but it actually was not established until 1940 and will be listed later in this thread under war-time K.L.

K.L. Ravensbrueck:

Even though K.L. Ravensbrueck was establised in 1938, there is no listing of SS Officers assigned to that camp in the 1938 SS DAL.

The SS-T.V. was reorganized again in 1937:

SS-T.V. Standarte I "Oberbayern" at KL Dachau.

SS-T.V. Standarte 2 "Brandenburg" at Oranienburg (KL Sachsenhausen).

SS-T.V. Standarte 3 "Thüringen" at Frankenberg but later went to KL Buchenwald in Weimar.

Note:

SS-T.V. Standarte 4 "Ostmark" formed in 1938 in Linz and was later stationed at KL Mauthausen.

Note:

Nex I will list Officers assigned to the above SS-T.V. Standarten from the 1937 and 1938 SS-DAL's as well as the SS-T.V. Sanitäts Abteilung.

James

Hello Phil,

Thank you very much for the information regarding the Oberbayern Standarte. Do you by chance have the same information for the the other three standarten?

Best,

James

A question about the Hundertschaften system employed by the SS-TV in pre-war years.
Does anyone have any documentation that sheds some light on this structure?
In a Fuehrerprotokoll posted here for Peter Lotz in Wachtruppe Sachsen, (posted by George I think), there is a listing for the 23.Hundertschaft. Given that the strength of Sachsen at the time of the document, December 1935, was only 436 it would appear that each of the hundertschaften could only have comprised about 20 men.
Hopefully members might have documents that show hunderschaften listings for the other units that might allow me to make some informed conclusions.
The highest number seen on a collar patch seems to be 31, but it is unclear as to which unit the man belonged to.
Thanks for any help.
Derek.
