I’m looking for a photo of SS-Ostuf. Wolfgang Plaul. Born 1909 in Freiberg. He seemed to be Kommandant at several KL camps. I believe Kommandant at Buchenwald Femalecamp (Aussenlager) until 1945? Looking also for information on him

Phil, Yes I believe it possible the same person. I forgot to include the SS NR. 13679 and the NADAP 576791. These are the same numbers that I had gotten. Is there any know photographs of him, or other SS personal at the KL Buchenwald? I believe he vanished and was never prosecuted if I'm right. Was hoping to also find photographs of other camp personal.

zweite Plaul Wolfgang

the first Wolfgang Plaul that Albert showed was never attached to Kl system, he was condemned by the SS-u Policht Gericht in 1944 and was transfered to the SS-Sonder.Brig. "Dirlewanger".

The second Wolgang Plaul is the right Plaul, he is since the end of the war listed as MIA. His photo is published at the GDS Buchenwald. But you also can find his photo in the Vermisstenbildlisten der DRK.
