SS-Hauptsturmführer Pflaum

Does anyone have any more information about SS-Hauptsturmführer Pflaum who was working at Bobruisk during August 1943, his Feldpostnummer 09540 D ?

John Moores fuhrerlist has an:

Alfred Pflaum, (born, April 22nd 1902, Paprotsch/Posen, SS Nr 10.962) an administrative officer with the W.V.H.A.

Is this the same officer?

Any help appreciated

The problem with Alfred Pflaum is that he was SS-Stubaf from 9 Nov 1941.

The only other Pflaum's I have found are an SS-Staf Guntram Pflaum - but actually he was also SS-Stubaf(F) and there was an SS-Ustuf Philipp Pflaum, born 9 Oct 1909 (SS-Ustuf on 20 Apr 1937, SS-Ostuf on 20 Apr 1939).

In connection with Bobruisk it must be Guntram Pflaum, former responsible SS-Leader ("Geschäftsführer")of the Lebensborn, predecessor of Max Sollmann.
He was involved in the robbing of children in Bobruisk, but I have to check my files for the precise circumstances.

Pflaum was SS Staf and SS Sturmbannführer (Fachführer) he was Leiter Sonderkommando Pflaum beim HSSPF Russland Mitte 04.01.42, Leiter SS Kinderheim Kurmark 1943 - 01.01.44

Phil, are you saying that SS Stub. Guntram Pflaum is Leiter Sonderkomando Pflaum beim HSSPF Russland Mitte ?

Does anyone have D.O.B and SS/NSDPA Nr for him?

Hello Stuart,
Here's some additional info on Dr. Guntram Pflaum.
Born in Freistadt.
Between 12-12-35 and 2-40 he was head of the Verwaltungsabteilung within the Lebensborn-organisation(he was succeeded by M. Sollmann).
In 1936 and in 1937 he was Stabesführer from the Sippenamt within the Rasse- und Siedlungshauptamt.
From 4-1-1942 till ?? 1943 he was head of Sonderkommando 'Pflaum' within the Staff from the HsSPF 'Russland-Mitte'.
From ?? 1943 till 1-1-1944 he was head of the SS-Kinderheim in Kurmark.
From 1-1-1944 till 5-1945 he was Sonderbeauftragter des RFSS für Schädlingsbekämpfung der Waffen-SS und Polizei mit Standort in Auschwitz-Birkenau(this duty involved the combat and control of mosquitos and other vermin in the Eastern territories using chemicals produced by Deutsche Gesellschaft Schadlung Bekampfung b.H./Degesch).
He was also Himmlers specialist on the field of delousing in the camps where they used Zyklon B.
In May 1945 he was murdered by former inmates from the Ebensee-camp.

I can't find any other officer with HSSPF R-M at that time, so I'm 99% sure Dr. Guntram Pflaum is the officer I'm looking for.

The reason for me asking about this officer is because he supplied a translator to a Waffen SS unit!

You start at A expecting to go to B.....and end up at T....

Served with Staff from 27. SS-Standarte 'Ostmark'(HQ Frankfurt am Oder).
Got promoted to SS-Hauptsturmführer on 9-11-1934.
Was administrative-officer within the WVHA.
Got promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer on 9-11-1941.

Philip Pflaum.
Born on 9-10-1909.
Member NSDAP(nr. 140.511).
Member Allgemeine-SS(nr. 152.177).
Got promoted to SS-Untersturmführer on 20-4-1937.
