Re: Karl Gebhardt
Just come across this passage abiout "Gebhard" from the Intermediate Interrogation Report dated 28 June 1945 of Ernst Kaltenbrunner:
"Gebhard. Professor. Specialist in infantile paralysis and leg muscle operations. Coming from a poor Bavarian family, Gebhard was a school-mate of Himmler's and remained one of his very closest friends. Himmler spent a great deal of time in Hohenlychen where Gebhard headed a large hospital for wounded SS.
"He operated on the King of Belgium and had flown to Crete and Stalingrad to perform operations.
"On occasional visits to the RSHA to obtain cigarettes, cognac, etc., Gebhard always tried to pick up the latest inside stories and asked about the state of morale. Kaltenbrunner always avoided talking to him about political matters. He felt that Gebhard's information would be passed on in an exaggerated form to Himmler, over whom Gebhard exercised considerable influence."

Re: Karl Gebhardt
Steve,
This is an old erroneous piece of information. Gebhardt was acquainted with Heinrich Himmler's brother, Gebhard Himmler. They were in the same year at school. He was not a school chum of the Reichsführer-SS, but Gebhardt did capitalise on his acquaintance with the Himmler family through Gebhard, whose father was also one of Gebhardt's tutors.
Regards,
Max.
Re: Karl Gebhardt
Guys, who's this SS-Ogruf. on the right?

Re: Karl Gebhardt

Re: Karl Gebhardt
Hi,
Two photo.
First one is smiling Karl Gebhardt on the left.
Second photo.
I think Gebhardt on the right, with his back to the camera, - can anyone confirm?
Andrey.

Re: Karl Gebhardt
Looks like him to me. Powerful back of the head, and the same haircut.
Re: Karl Gebhardt
I believe it is Gebhardt. Could the other man with his back to camera with cuff band be Peiper? He does seem a bit too tall.
Re: Karl Gebhardt
Hi and thanks!
I see in the photo Dr. Karl Gebhardt, Hans-Adolf Prützmann, Josef Dietrich, RFSS, Karl Wolff... (right to left).
I don't think there is a Peiper here...
Andrey.

Here is the back of Gebhardt and Schwester Pia, I believe
