Hullo everybody,
first of all my compliments for the outstanding forum.
I'm here to ask your help in an historical research.
I live in Livorno - Italy (Leghorn) that was liberated on July,19 1944. I'm trying to discover the name of three german soldiers (may be SS) that were killed in that date near my house.
Anybody can help?
Thank in advance
Historical research - plate of 16. SS-Div
Re: Historical research - plate of 16. SS-Div.
I can add some more information:
they probably were from the 16. SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Division "Reichsführer-SS".
I also found a picture of the car they were driving when killed....the plate has the number "SS 402948"
