Do I have to understand that SS-Sturmbannführer Günther Farohs won the DKiG?
He is not listed in Patzwall / Scherzer and I am not able to find any data about his awards.
Can anybody confirm if Günther Farohs won the DKiG, please?
If so, could you share the data, please?

Hello copiloto. I have Volume 2 of "German Cross in Gold Holders of the SS and Police". On Page 349 (under Appendix), Yerger states that ....."The following list gives some of the unit commanders who, while important, did NOT receive the German Cross in Gold in the majority of cases". As you point out, on Page 354 Yerger refers to Günther Farohs. At NO time does he ever state that Farohs received the German Cross in Gold. I also have ALL the later volumes of Yerger's works, and again there is NO reference to Farohs being awarded the German Cross in Gold. Hope that helps.
