Hello,
Stange, Eduard SS-Ostuf. dob 28.05.21 SS Nr. 359645 OO, I./Pz.GR.4
Source: John Moore Führerliste
Maybe someone could identify SS-Ustuf. Krause who is on a Pow report (posted by Steve) as Platoon leader in 2./DF?
I found his name on another document.
Regards
Patrick

Hello,
Thanks Georg to post this picture.
Karl Seibert was assigned to the SS-Pz.Gr.AuE.Btl.2 at the end of the war.
For the other forum members, I give a link about SS-Pz.Gr.AuE.Btl.2 where Seibert was already cited (posted by Georg).
https://forum.axishistory.com//viewtopi ... ge#p650408.
Does anyone know the Feldpostnummer of SS-Pz.Gr.AuE.Btl.2 ?
Regards
Patrick

Hello Patrick,
The list you found on the Blogg was only for official listed officers of the SS-Pz.Gr.Rgt. Der Führer, I have today published those officers who became MIAs as officers of the SS-Pz.Gr.AuE.Abt.2 among them Liebmann. - https://wennallebruderschweigen.blogspo ... anier.html

Re: Officer List for "Der Führer" in Summer 1944?
With which unit did Götsche end the war? Last entry in Führerliste is the above assignment:
Götsche, Karl August Stubaf. 25. 2.03 33 537 Kdr.I./Pz.GR.4 3.45
- yet he apparently turns up in Berlin on May 2nd, 1945. The danish SS-Ustuf. Andresen tells: "Einige Leute verlassen den Keller, andere - darunter SS-Stubaf. Göttsche - kommen herein." (Venghaus, S. 69).
Führerliste has two Göttsche - Dr. Hans G. and Rolf G., none of them SS-Sturmbannführer and any way they had both fallen by May 2nd. Karl-August Götsche (with only one "t") is the only one that fits the bill, further more he had served as: "Chef,7./Inf.Rgt.“Nordland" (from Mai 1941) - Andresen had been in the same Regiment: "II./Inf.Rgt.”Nordland” (from July 1941; maybe even in the same Bataillon if 7. Komp. belonged to the II. Bat.), so Andresen would surely have known Götsche ... and his ID therefore been solid. But again what was Götsches doing in Berlin?
Any thoughts?
Best

Froni, Josef Ustuf. 30. 8.20 SS Nr 475 331 8./Pz.GR.4 ‡18. 8.44
According to Charles Trang (Leibstandarte, 1943-1945, p. 441) SS-Hstuf Josef 'Sepp' Unterkofler led the 8. Kompanie at least since november 1943 and left his command when he participated to a Bataillons-Führer-Lehrgang in Pz.Tr.Schl.II Bergen in August 44 before succeiding to SS-Ostuf Gerhard Herfurth at the head of II./SS-Pz.Gr.Rgt 1 in October. So Froni (mostly a Zugführer) should probably assumed command after him in August (for a short time before he was KIA).
SS-Stubaf Karl-August Götsche takes command of I. Btl mit Wirkung von 20.10. and left command to SS-Hstuf Albert Engelmann in Mid-February when the division was transfered in Hungary (according to Weidinger).Halfdan S. wrote: ↑21 Apr 2019, 14:30With which unit did Götsche end the war? Hello von Kluck,
Sepp Unterkofler was promoted Hstuf on 09/11/1944 and assigned Chef, 8./ Pz.GR.4. He took command of Btl Lex (Kampfgruppe Das Reich) after the latter's death on 11.03.1944. He was then seriously wounded in the neck on 19.03.1944. Source Otto Weidinger, Mark Yerger, Charles Trang
Unterkofler is listed as Hstuf Kr III /1 Pz.G.Rgt 1 in DAL der Waffen-SS 01.07.1944
The source for Ustuf Josef Froni is: Commission d'enquête des crimes de guerre (War Crimes Commission of Inquiry) and John Moore Führerliste
The II./Pz.GR.4. led by Herbert Schulze lacked officers and had to complete his training. He arrived on the Normandy front only on 17.07.1944
