SS-Stubaf. Wolfgang Ollrog

Good morning from Germany,

at the moment I´m dealing with Wolfgang Ollrog. I´m not sure about his duties.
I found several informations about him in AHF. Ia or IIa of the IInd Panzerkorps? Thats not clear.

In the Kriegsrangliste of the Panzerkorps I found him as Korps-Adjutant (IIa) with the rank of SS-Hauptsturmführer (01.04.1940) while he was IIa he was promoted to SS-Stubaf. (21.06.1943). So he was allready IIa definetly before june 1943. In other sources he was still IIa in january 1945.

So what is right?

ok..I found another document. There Ollrog is mentioned als Korps-Adjutant ..so IIa. from 30.07. - 25.08.1942 he was as IIa on holidays.

Hello,

In any chart I found mention of Ollrog as Ia (Trang, Mehnert...)
One source (Mehnert) state he was IIa SS-Panzerkorps then II.SS-Panzerkorps from june 42 till january 45.
Before he was IIa SS-Polizeidivision from the beginning. (Die guten Glaubens waren bildband)

Hauptmann (Polizei) Ollrog became Adjutant (IIa) of the SS-Polizei-Division in 1941, succeeding Major Erich Skowronnek. He served as such until 09.03.42, when succeeded by Hauptmann Emil Karst.

Ollrog then became Adjutant of the Amtsgruppe Inspektionen in the SS-FHA (led by Walter Krüger, both men had probably met while Krüger commanded the SS-Polizei-División in the second half of 1941).

With effect 03.02.43 Hastuf. Ollrog was appointed Adjutant of the SS-Panzer-Korps, taking over the post from temporary Adjutant Hastuf. Rudolf Maeker on 18.02.43 (see Maeker's biography in Volume 4 of Mark Yerger "German Cross in Gold Holders" series).

Promoted to Sturmbannführer on 21.06.43, Ollrog is still listed as Adjutant of the II.SS-Panzer-Korps on 01.03.45.
