If anyone stumble about names and details regarding the physicians on Waffen-SS (and albo this "monsters" from SS-Totenkopfverbände service in German KL's). I start - the most famous "monster" Josef Mengele - awarded EK II for brave action - as yet he was not a "monster".
And of course, we remember that Mengele was one of dozens of doctors-killers in KL Auschwitz.

Prof. Dr. Ernst-Robert Grawitz (8 June 1899 – 24 April 1945) was a German physician (SS Reichsarzt). He funded Nazi attempts to "eradicate the perverted world of the homosexual" and research into attempts to "cure" homosexuality. This involved experimentation on inmates in Nazi concentration camp. just to precise that infamous Dr. Carl Clauberg was not Allgemeine-SS member nor Waffen-SS medical officer. He was SA officer and he practiced in KL service. The pic of him with an SS blouse introduce the legend.

Thanks Georges JEROME. I cited "Zeszyty Oświęcimskie" historical quarterly published by Museum of German KL Auschwitz-Birkenau. And I found info: Clauberg was promoted in 1940 to SS-Gruppenführer der Reserve. [Robert Jay Lifton, The Nazi doctors: Medical Killing and the Psychology of Genocide, (Basic Books, 2000), p. 271–278]

His buddy aus KL Buchenwald - SS-Sturmbannführer Erwin Oskar Ding-Schuler (September 19, 1912 – August 11, 1945) - German surgeon and an officer in the Waffen-SS. He is notable for having performed experiments on inmates of the KL Buchenwald. Also murdered prisoners - In July 1939 Ding-Schuler injected the pastor Paul Schneider with an overdose of g-Strophanthin. SS-Stubaf. Ding-Schuler conducted until 1945 extensive medical experiments - exterminated hundreds of 1,000 inmates in Experimental Station Block 46, using various poisons and infective agents for spotted fever, yellow fever, smallpox, typhus, and cholera.
