Do you have more info on this Dr.?
Was he attached to any KL or just SS-Totenkopf-Standarten?

Best regards,
Georg

Thanks Albert.
Next - Dr. Hans Wilhelm Münch (14 May 1911 – c. 2001) was a German NSDAP member who worked as an SS physician during World War II at the Auschwitz death camp from 1943 to 1945.
In June 1943, he was recruited as a scientist by the Waffen-SS and was sent to the Hygiene Institute of the Waffen-SS (de) in Raisko, about 4 km (2.5 mi) from the main camp at Auschwitz. Dr. Münch worked alongside the infamous Dr. Josef Mengele. Dr. Münch continued the bacteriological research he was known for before the war, as well as making occasional inspections of the camps and the prisoners.
Along with other doctors, Dr. Münch was expected to participate in the "selections" at the camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau, to decide who among the incoming Jewish men, women and children could work, who would be experimented on, and who would be put to death in the gas chambers. He found this abhorrent and refused to take part; this was confirmed by witnesses' testimony at his trial. Münch as the only physician whose commitment to the Hippocratic oath proved stronger than that to the SS - but Dr. Hans Münch was a participant in malaria experiments on Auschwitz inmates.
According to testimony from inmate Dr. Louis Micheels, Münch's last act before the camp was abandoned was to provide him with a revolver to assist his escape. After the evacuation of Auschwitz in 1945, Dr. Münch spent three months at the Dachau concentration camp near Munich.

Dr. Werner Heyde (aka Fritz Sawade) (25 April 1902 – 13 February 1964) was a German psychiatrist. He was one of the main organizers of Germany's T-4 Euthanasia Program. He was replaced as head of the T4 program by Dr. Paul Nitsche in 1941, but continued his involvement as member of the so-called "department Brack". He worked at KZ Buchenwald, KZ Dachau and KZ Sachsenhausen. In 1944, he was awarded the SS-Totenkopfring, and before the end of the war reached the rank of SS-Standartenführer.

SS-Brigadeführer und Generalmajor der Waffen-SS, Professor Dr. Karl Gebhardt, Träger des Ritterkreuzes zum Kriegsverdienstkreuz mit Schwertern. He was a German medical doctor and a war criminal during World War II. He served as Medical Superintendent of the Hohenlychen Sanatorium, Consulting Surgeon of the Waffen-SS, Chief Surgeon in the Staff of the Reich Physician SS and Police, and personal physician to Heinrich Himmler.
Gebhardt was the main coordinator of a series of surgical experiments performed on inmates of the concentration camps at Ravensbrück and Auschwitz. These experiments were an attempt to defend his approach to the surgical management of grossly contaminated traumatic wounds, against the then-new innovations of antibiotic treatment of injuries acquired on the battlefield. During the Subsequent Nuremberg Trials, Gebhardt stood trial in the Doctors' trial (American Military Tribunal No. I). He was convicted of war crimes and crimes against humanity and sentenced to death on 20 August 1947. He was hanged on 2 June 1948, in Landsberg Prison in Bavaria.

Prof. DR. August Hirt (28 April 1898 – 2 June 1945) was an anatomist with Swiss and German nationality who served as a chairman at the Reich University in Strasbourg during World War II. He performed experiments with mustard gas on inmates at the Natzweiler-Struthof concentration camp and played a lead role in the murders of 86 people at Natzweiler-Struthof for the Jewish skeleton collection. The skeletons of his victims were meant to become specimens at the Institute of anatomy in Strasbourg, but completion of the project was stopped by the progress of the war. He was an SS-Hauptsturmführer and in 1944, an SS-Sturmbannführer.

Dr. Karl Babor (23 August 1918 – 18 January 1964) was a österreichischer SS-Hauptsturmführer, doctor, and officer at KL Groß-Rosen. He was an expert in assassination by syringe of phenol - he took care to always administer slightly more than the lethal dose – “just to make sur”.
In 1945, he was arrested and taken prisoner by the French, and spent several months in a internment camp before being returned to Vienna. He finished his studies without being arrested until 1952, when he was identified by former deportees at Groß-Rosen. Babor fleeing, he left Vienna and Austria, and was escaped to Ethiopia. In the meantime, his wife returned to Germany and decided to denounce him, informed Simon Wiesenthal, who alerted the world press (1963). Babor died without being found: his body was recovered in January 1964 from a river infested with crocodiles - "friends help"?
