Bergmeier, Anton [SS-Oberscharfuehrer] executed 26 Nov 1948
Bollow, Wilhelm (c. 1897-5.11.1948) executed at Landsberg-am-Lech prison 5 Nov 1948
Busch, Christian, hanged 3.10.1947
Eggert, Karl executed 14 Nov 1947
Bruening, Willy and Brunning, Willi are the same guy
Endres, Anton is on the list twice
In my sources Karl Eggert(Stutthof guard) was executed at 22.10.1948 in Gdansk

Re: Landsberg executions
I have nothing directly to the executions in Landsberg, however since I am from that area let me give you a clue
about the cemetry of the executed nearby a chapel on the grounds of the prison:
A view years ago it was decided that the monuments / crosses shall be withdrawn due to the fact that they had been
war criminals ( at least it seems that most of them are ).
However there is a book about this cemetry and in this book there are some good / informative explanations about
one or the other of the executed persons.
As well as also the description of why / how they had been executed.
It is written by an person living in Landsberg.
Unfortuneatly I found only one source for the book, and the book is in German Language only.
Here is the link ( I have no financial or whatsoever stakes in this )

Re: Landsberg executions
Hi ,
pic#1 looks like SS-Hauptscharführer Johann Viktor Kirsch, sentenced in the Dachau Parent Case and executed on 28th May 1946.
the men with caps are some of the five delinquents (Josef Hartgen, age 41, Johannes Seipel, age 66, Johann Opper, age 62, Philipp Gutlich, age 49, Friedrich Wust, age 41) who were sentenced in the Ruesselsheim case for mistreatment of terror-flyers (case 000-12-1497) and executed on the 10th Nov 1945 in Bruchsal prison.
Some pics obviously show hangings in Russia (delinquents disgracefully hanged in public without hood).
Maybe I can find out more.... the pics are tiny
regards,
Markus

Re: Landsberg executions
Am I wrong that the link posted by the new member "jericho" is against the forum guidelines?
But even more I´m wondering about that nobody from the forum staff react on my info about this circumstance.
