Polizei Officer Schrader

Hello to all

During the Polish Campaign, the War Diary of the Grenzschutz-Abschnittskommando 3 (military command for the area of Ost-Oberschlesien) for the day 28.September.1939, mentions the arrival of a certain "Polizei-Bataillon Schrader". Does anybody know which number this Polizei Bataillon had?

The Schutzpolizei- and Gendarmerie-Reichsrangliste dated 01.September. 1941 does not list any officer with the rank of Major or above named "Schrader". Who has any information about this officer from an earlier Reichsrangliste? What happened to him?

Many thanks in advance

There was a Polizei-Hptm Walther von Schrader (born 14 Jul 1894) who was Pol-Hptm in Osnabrück (promoted 20 Dec 1924) from the "Dienstaltersliste der Polizeioffiziere der Schupo in Preussen 1 Oct 1931"

Hi Ignacio,

"Schrader" could be a spelling, typing, reading or even hearing error. To my knowledge there was no Pol.Btl. Schrader in Poland at that time.
But Pol.Btl. 62 with Oberstltn. "Schaber" was stationed in Miechow in Sept. 1939.
