SS-Hauptsturmführer Erich Herberholz

I'm looking for a good bio of SS-Hauptsturmführer Erich HERBERHOLZ, an SD officer, born on 23 November 1908 (where?), died of pneumonia possibly in March 1945 in a Soviet POW camp after being captured by the Red Army in Poznań (Posen) on 23 February 1945.
NSDAP Nr. 48.030 and SS Nr. 19.412.
Transferred to the KdS Warschau [Befehlsblatt 24 X 1942].
This is all I know about him.

Erich Herberholz was born in Hartha / Sachsen (edit: in Herten). Probably between 1942 and 1944 he was the head of AdS Lowicz (Łowicz) under KdS Warschau.

This is what I thought.
He was apparently replaced in this post by SS-Hauptsturmführer und Kriminalkommissar Walter HESS [12 I 1908 Frankfurt am Main - ?] in the last days of July or in the first days of August 1944.
The question is - did HERBERHOLZ remain in Łowicz as head of the Abteilung III SD and deputy of the local Aussendienststelle der SIPO und SD or was he transferred to Poznań (Posen), where he was taken POW by the Soviets?

Some additional info about Herberholz:

Joined the NSDAP on 26/11/1926.
Joined the SS on 01/10/1931.
Promoted to SS-Ustuf. on 30/01/1938; promoted to SS-Ostuf. on 20/04/1939; promoted to SS-Hstuf. 09/11/1940.
I have information that in June 1939 he served in SD Breslau.

Mentioned at least two times in BBL:

1942, SS-Ostuf.(?) Herberholz listed with SD posted to BdS Krakau [BBL 12/1942 from 21/03/1942].
1942, SS-Hstuf. Erich Herberholz listed with SD posted to KdS Warschau [BBL 47/1942 from 24/10/1942].

According to the document posted in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=82474&start=120, SS-Ustuf. Erich Herberholz was assigned to SD-Unterabschnitt Arnsberg in February 1939.
