Lfd 674 Adolf W = Adolf Waldner

Otto Cassebaum - born 15 Nov 1894, Gloethe a.d. Saale (Gloethe should have an umlaut but they seem to have stopped working on my laptop using ASCII keys)

In addition to case Nr. 674:

Adolf W. - indeed former SS-Ustuf. and Krim.-O'Sekr. Adolf Waldner (born 29/05/1891 Kurken/Ostpreussen).
Max S. - former Krim.-Sekr. Max Stöbner (born 13/11/1892 Gora/Kreis Posen-Ost).
Wilhelm M. - i'm not sure but his name was probably Müller. He was not Sipo man but member of German civil administration in Hrubieszów. (Verwaltungsbeamter in Kreishauptmannschaft Hrubieszów - born 14/11/1907 Herford).

One piece of the puzzle gives another name.
M = Wilhelm Meyer, born 1908, no other details.
However, Demant, Stoebner, Waldner and Meier were tried becfore Schwurgericht Hildesheim in May 1968 for complicity in the murder of the Hrubieszow Jews, 1941-1942.
Stobner (and Waldner?), 10 years
Meier, 3 years
Demant, life

They must have successuffuly appealed against sentence as the 4 were being tried again in 1971.

Thanks for the correction - it was Wilhelm Meyer or Meier not Müller. He was born on 14/11/1907 in Herford and was tried along with Stöbner, Waldner and Demant in Hildesheim.
