I cant get in to update my post for some reason, GRAMBOW was serving in 1916 with Leichte Munitionskolonne der II Abt, of the 4 Garde-Feldart Rgt.

And as Uffz. he was again severely wounded near the end of the war, at this stage his unit is not given in the Verlustlisten 1. Weltkrieg,

SS-Ustuf: 20.04.1937.
Before KdS Warschau he was assigned to Stapo Potsdam.

As far i know he was the head of AdS Sokołów Podlaski (KdS Warschau) before May 1943 (he was replaced on this post by KK Rudolf Weber). In late 1943 and early 1944 he was assigned as Krim.Ang to Referat IV A1 with Gestapo in Warschau.

You mean succeeded by SS-Obersturmführer [21 VI 1944] und Kriminalkommissar [23 X 1943] Rudolf WEBER, born on 04 July 1891?

Unterreferat IV 1b - Rechte Opposition und Rechter Widerstandsbewegung.
He must have taken charge in June 1944 because I don't have him listed in the Fernsprech und Wohnungsverzeichnis from 1943/1944.

You are right. According to his own postwar testimony he was transferred from Sokołów Podlaski to Warsaw shortly before the Warsaw Uprising.
