This one identified by Michael Miller as SS-Obersturmfuhrer (later Obersturmbannfuhrer) Walter Schmidt (the guy second from left)

A lot of interesting photos again. A couple of quick observations:

That's not Demelhuber

...but this is:

Looks like August Schmidhuber to me (who did serve in that unit, which is the "Germania" Regiment, unlike Brandt).

Cheers,
Ivan

Notice the small number 2 on Schmidhuber's collar patch; it stands for SS-Standarte 2 "Germania". The Standarte (regiment) was commanded by Demelhuber and Schmidhuber commanded its 1st battalion.

This also appears to be him:

Three Heer photos; the "S" on the shoulder boards stands for "Schule"

...and the number 33 stands for Regiment 33

These guys are wearing "Großdeutschland" cufftitles

A couple more observations:

SS-Regiment "Nordland"

Image
Image

SS-Regiment "Deutschland" (the image is mirrored)

Image

SS-Regiment "Der Führer" (if the licence plate number is 8635)
...or SS-Regiment 11 (if it's a five-digit licence plate number starting with 8635...)
Image

The officer in the centre reminds of Jürgen Wagner. But the resolution is too low to tell for sure.

Cheers,
Ivan

Hi,
Nice and interesting photos, thanks.
My 5 cents - photo from the previous page ID from left to right: August Schmidhuber, Dr.med. Wilhelm Berndt, Werner Grothmann.
Best,

Andrey.

Ah, I've only just now realised I didn't click the image twice, for full resolution :)
Well it sure looks like him, wearing the same crusher cap as in the photo from the previous page.

Here are some more, the final few from this album - the SS dental team are included purely because they are interesting

The dentist photo session was taken in Serbia, April 1941 (SS Division "Reich").

ah, so they are know images? That's a little disappointing... I suppose that multiple copies could have been made though
