A rare shot of Diels smiling with hair parted and in a suit, in close proximity to Himmler.

I think I’m running out of pictures, ever so slowly...

According to scar, this Standartenführer is Rudolf Diels too. Am I right?

Re: Is this Rudolf Diels?
Can’t find the website that had the top one anymore, so unfortunately it’s technically a picture of a picture.

Re: Is this Rudolf Diels?
Not a photograph of him, but here is my signature from Diels. He signed a Party Day book for someone, I believe, and this signature was one of many in a book on individual pages that were eventually torn out to be sold separately.
If you look closely, to the right of his signature is an inky smudge and what looks to be a faint fingerprint in the same blue-black ink.

It is not, actually, there are other shots of that fellow and it doesn't look like Diels. Lemme see if I can find the other shots.

If it’s not, then I’m curious as to why he would sign it...

Re: Is this Rudolf Diels?
I was perplexed about him signing an image not of himself as well, so I asked a friend of mine who deals (no pun intended lol) in this sort of thing, and he said that in the Third Reich, a lot of the high ranking officials were sort of like rockstars in that asking them for their autograph was a totally normal, acceptable thing, if one saw them out some place. A lot of these torn out book pages exist, and while I don't know what circumstances Diels would have signed this in, it makes sense that he chose a page from an event that he was at. These images of this soldier were taken at the Rally of Victory in 1933, and Diels was definitely there. My initial idea was that this was a book plate, from a book he owned, but I guess not.
In the lot my signature came from, there were also signatures from Göring, Goebbels, Streicher, Frick, Otto & Sepp Dietrich and others, and a lot of pages with signatures were torn out during the denazification days (which also makes sense for the sake of maximizing profit, splitting them up).
