Max,
It will be difficult to identify him by his position.
Under the signature is written:
i. V. ( in Vertretung/in representation)
So it is not the Police President of Berlin 1935.

I read it as Weiner, but signatures are hard to identify.

Best regards
Armin

Thank you. I know he is not the Polizeipräsident; that is quite clear. In March 1935, it was Magnus von Levetzow, and the signer adds his signature on his behalf. In any case, he would not have signed as 'Polizeiamt Köpenick'. Köpenick is only a part of Berlin. No, the signer was a high ranking police official, either a police officer or civil servant, in Köpenick. I have posted the signature in the hope that someone here might either recognise the signature or be able to read the name. I am personally quite experienced with reading signatures, but this one has me puzzled. I appreciate your effort.
Max.
