Hi Guys,

Can anyone who has the book tell us whether it contains any more on the following from late December 1943:

"..... according to the Swedish Government an unnamed pro-Nazi Swedish businessman has recently had talks in Berlin with a member of the German Foreign Office and Himmler. The Swedish Government has advised the British Government that Himmler indicated in these conversations that he was ready to send one army officer and one party official to meet the British to obtain definition of the term unconditional surrender."

Many thanks,

Sid

I've ordered the book 3 weeks ago, but it usually takes a century before it arrive to my home. honestly i like Irving's books and now i'm reading his book about Goebbels (mastermind of the third reich), i watched a lot of his lectures i felt there is an obsession with blonde and white colored people. these people are really damn sick proud about their color which i find very sickening (as if the world has not enough stupids).

Interestingly, I see they are making a new film on Felix Kersten "The Man With the Miraculous Hands". They've cast Woody Harrelson as Kersten. Not too bothered about historical accuracy then.
Max.

Sid:

i doubt very much if this will be covered, as this is just Volume 1 of two. So I assume the wartime activities will be in Volume 2.

He was good Larry Flynn, Chester W. Nimitz, but let's see, what will be the outcome.

Thanks to Duncan I just finish reading of first 90 pages. First 40 pages dealing with death of HH, very interesting, but I do not want to disclose the point before everyone will read it. At the moment I am lost and stacked at diaries of young HH and I am a bit bored. I hope, it will again get typical Irving's momentum or I will have to skip this part.

Received the book today. Took 5 1/2 months since ordering but it’s here. It is a well made book - tightly bound, light blue hardcover, gilt title , dust jacket. Irving put a thick photo section in the center , black and white as well as color. Superb selection. There’s one gem photo - Marga Himmler when she was young - in men’s clothes posing in a play with her sister.

Ordered months ago and still waiting. Maybe the shipping in the US is longer?

I ordered this back in January, I’ve sent a couple follow ups to the FPP website but have not heard anything. Pretty lame that someone that ordered three weeks ago already has their copy. Hopefully it’s just pandemic-related disorganization. Anyone had any luck getting any response from FPP with updates on when we can expect shipments?
