Hello,

Two weeks ago i found the grave of SS-Ostuf. Josef Grathwohl in La Cambe, France.
Today when i search information about this officer i found out that he was in fact a Hauptsturmführer.
Did they make an error at the Volksbund ?

Furthermore their is not much to find on the internet about this person:

Grathwohl Josef Eugen
*14.08.1909 Leutkirch
+25.07.1944 Rocquancourt (buried at La Cambe Block 4 Row 1 Grave 11)
SS-Nr.: 111.628
Chef 1./SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 1 / 1. SS-Panzer-Division "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler": ? -25.07.1944

If anybody has more information please be welcome!
Thanks in advance,
Jampol
