How many awards in different SS-Divisions

Hello all,

I wonder if there are record where I can see how many Eiserne Kreuz for each divisions have been awarded? I have seen numbers for some battalions but never on Division level. I also onder if there is a number how many DKiG was awarded for each division? The RK holders is all known.

Any help or pont to the right direction is much appriciated.

This is a difficult question.
I looked at the lists of those awarded the cross (EK2) of the Gottberg brigade.
The list contains 2775 people

I know it was a difficult question, but I thought that maybe somewhere there was a list with how many EK I and DkiG was listed for each Division. But I understand it´s a to big task. I have to leave that info outside my Manuscript.

Most of WSS DKiG holders are indicated in Charles Trang's "Dictionnaires de la Waffen SS" (vol.1-4). Each formation has own list of DKiG holders.

Holders of higher awards per unit can be found in the awardholders-Thread in the ABR-section.

I know that documents for all awards in the "Das Reich" division (for the WASt) are currently being copied.
