Yes its tragic for an elderly couple to be in that position, I believe that she had been in severe difficulties for some time. It does say something about the strength of mind of Albert Frey even at the age of 90 !

Yes, it seems to me that he wanted to end her pain but could not live without her, so he decided to join her into the afterlife or what have you. Almost like a Romeo and Juliet scenario. I think it shows how much love they had for each other and how very close they were.

does anyone have any details on what happened to albert and his wife....apart from that he shot her...and then himself?....such a sad end:(

What pain she must have been, to have her husband shoot her....and then himself. I was wondering where one learns that kind of dedication to cause....and Iron will.........?
