Thank you for the information David!
Although, I cannot get the link in the following to work: Third Reich Forum posts at http//keywest.dnsvault.com/~forum3rd/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6865;
Is there any information on assignments, promotions, awards or perhaps a picture anywhere? Thank you again!
Cheers,
Wolfkin

Hello David!
Hmmmm...I can not find a death date no matter where I look for Christ. Does you or anyone know the death date of SS-Obersturmführer Friedrich Christ? Or perhaps, may he still be alive? Also, can you or anyone provide some career details, I know a little bit but not too much. Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Wolfkin

No problem David!
You have helped a good deal already, for I now finally have a picture of this man. Most likely there is little on him, as he was not a Knight's Cross winner. This is kind of funny, as I always look for information on guys that there is little stuff on, Hubert Kaufmann, Friedrich Christ, Helmuth Koch and such!
Thank you for your help and information that you have provided so far. Maybe someone might see this thread and would be able to provide more. Thank you again!

Re: SS-Obersturmführer Friedrich Christ
Are you still interested or did you get what you wanted. I only have few private information but little or nothing on his SS-career. Christ died in 2002 in Germany. Greetings, Elisabeth
Re: SS-Obersturmführer Friedrich Christ
Old thread but to learn more about Friedrich Christ I can recomend the Book -Krieg und Nachkrieg , biografische Skizze eines SS-Offiziers 1937-1957
The part about His participating in the war is only on 20-30 pages and mostly about the Nazi theory in the Waffen-SS. A lot of guesses . The Book is more about the Malmedy prozess and the verdict of Christ (death) . I have noticed some minor errors in the Book. But overall its rather interessting.
Best regards
Georg
