THE AMAZING OTTO SKORZENY
THE AMAZING OTTO SKORZENY

Hello Friends:
I am an American paratrooper, but I am fascinated with the extraordinary commando, Otto Skorzeny. I have most or all of the books on him. I am looking for additional resources, including but not limited to, memorabilia, photos, surviving family contact info, papers, war crimes trial transcripts, etc. I may write a book or screen play.
Thank you for your help.

I Was Too.
Hi Mal
I'm just curious, What outfit are you with?
I was with the 82nd Airborne Division. I was with the 325th Abn. Inf. Reg., the 80th Abn. AAA Bn, and XVIII ABCAR. That was all before you were born but I'm still proud of having been a member of the All American Division.

I don't think there was any real enmity there. Mostly good natured rivalry. When I came home on my first leave, there was a group of us all traveling together. 101, 82nd and some Marines. Everyone got along fine. The 101 is no longer a jumper outfit. Now they slide down cables from choppers, which is probably even more dangerous. The only problem I (we) ever really had was with a group of hard cases from the 11th Airborne Division. We were in the process of settling it between us when the MP's arrived and presented us with a common enemy. Of course, I was only eighteen then.
