Looking for info on: SS-Hstuf. H. Kluckhohn.

He was adjutant to Heydrich (1940/1942). He was some time also officer in Das Reich, 10th SS.

Hello,

On a pic taken on the stairs of a theatre (or opera hall?) in Prag, we can see the RFSS with Heydrich, Franck and Wolff. In front of them is a SD officer (Hstf if I can remember); I've always thought he could be Heydrich's Adjutant. What do you think?

Wasn't that guy the main figure in the book Holocaust?

The photo you refer to, I assume, is that taken in October 1941 when Himmler visited Prague. It is not in a theatre, but is the entrance staircase to the Reichsprotektor's private office accommodation in Hradcany Castle. The staircase remains almost unaltered to this day and can be viewed from the ground floor through a closed gateway (opposite view as in the photo). For anyone visiting the castle, the staircase is on the right as you pass through the Matthias Gate. Opposite, on the left, is the hallway in which Heydrich's body was lying-in-state the night before his first funeral ceremony in the castle courtyard before the Matthias Gate. It was once known as the "Reinhard Heydrich Hall". The photograph shows (L to R) Karl Hermann Frank, Himmler, Wolff, Heydrich and Hermann Kluckhöhn. Kluckhöhn can also be seen in the almost identical photo taken on the occasion of Heydrich's arrival in Prague. Also in this image is Major Pomme, Heydrich's chief adjutant. Kluckhöhn remained in Prague for a time after Heydrich's death and acted as adjutant to Kurt Daluege. He attained the rank of SS-Sturmbannführer on 30 January 1943.

Thank you ever so much!!!
At last an answer to a age-old question...

It's a nice feeling to get an answer to something which puzzles you...

What about one of the character, the SS officer in Holocaust book? Did this man inspired the writer? What is true or false?
