SS-Obersturmbannführer Dr. Heinz Ehaus

Post by chrish » 20 Nov 2003 14:17

I am looking any informations about SS-Obersturmbannführer Dr. Heinz Ehaus, especially on his nazi-activity before the war. During war (1940 – 1944) he was NSDAP Chef and Kreishauptmann in Rzeszów (Reichshof)/ Distrikt Krakau. He belongs to so-called „strong-manns“ in GG, probably he was the strongest nazi-Kreishauptmann in GG (probably thanks to his excellents contacts on RSHA). He ruled absolutely and brutal. In the year 1942 he commanded (together with SS-Stub Hasse) deportation resovian’s Jews to gass-chambers in Be³¿ec. In order to celebrate this blood’s event, he order to place on top resovian’s castle token’s table in inscription:
“Dieser Adler, das deutsche Zeichen der Erhebung und des Sieges, wurde anläßlich der Befreiung der Stadt Reichshof von allen Juden im Juli des Jahres 1942 hier angebracht. Die Anbringung geschah während der Amtszeit des ersten Kreishauptmannes und Kreissstandortführers der NSDAP der Kreishauptmannschaft Reichshof, des SS-Sturmbannführers Dr. Heinz Ehaus.“
Also total immoral…according to some sources he like to flog naked Jewisch woman in resovian Getto and to walk (together with his wife and daughter!) in the nude before his servants very eyes.

I know enough about his activity in Rzeszów (this town is my birth and workplace) , but a little about his aerlier service in SS, NSDAP etc. [only basic information: Geb. 1.2.1906 Pommern , SS-Nr. 290.373, NSDAP-Nr. 3.010.379, HStuf.: 26.9.1938, SS-Stubaf.: 30.1.1939, SS-OStubaf.: 9.11.1942; SD-HA/RSHA: 1938-1945, probably commited suicide ?.?.1945]

I am interesting his activity in RSHA and NSDAP (especially before 1940) , studies period and another informations ….

Who can help me?

Krzysztof

on 1938 Dr Ehaus, then Regierungsrat, published an article in the official newspaper of the NSDAP Volkischer Beobachter
dealing with the decree of prohibition for jews to be owner of an arm (following the assasination of von Rath in Paris).

could be one of these officials lawyers of the staff of Hans Frank
