According to some sources SS-Hauptsturmführer Herbert Pakebusch (also spellt - probably incorrectly - Pakibusch) was in Palmanova (south of Udine) in late 1944-1945 as local SS commander; he was involved in anti-partisan activities together with Capitano Ernesto Ruggiero (5. Rgt. Milizia Difesa Territoriale), who was trialed and executed after the war.

Hi there,
about Pakebusch I have the following info:
Herbert Pakebusch (also Packebusch), born in Berlin 04.02.1902, SS-Standartenführer; Architect
1939/40: Volksdeutsche Selbstschutz;
OZAK: Stab für Bandenbekämpfung;
From German Red Cross files: apparently MIA at "Adria Küste" in July 1944.

Does anyone has any info on SS-Hstuf. Bareuther, Adolf (born 24.11.'02, SS-Nr. 336 904); who was in OZAK 4/45? I have him in position of CO of SS-Schule "Devin".
