Hi Tolga
Otto Meyer was killed on the 28th August 1944 in Duclair (17km NW of Rouen) during a bombing raid (to be more exact by several Thunderbolts) on the ferry site. Otto Meyer was at that time in charge of all Duclair's crossing sites.
He was posthoumously awarded Oakleaves, for actions of SS-Pz.Rgt.9 during Normandy campaign and he is burried in German war cemetary in Bourdon/Somme, Block 39, Reihe 7, Grab Nr.106.
