In John Moore's Fuhrerliste he listed only as SS-Stubaf
Schenck is dead 21/12/1998.

I've no evidence that he became SS-Staf. it's only what I've heard and read but nothing official from his SS record or similiar.

There is a new book out on Ernst Günther Schenck:

Gine Elsner: Heilkräuter, "Volksernährung", Menschenversuche. Ernst Günther Schenck (1904-1998): Eine deutsche Arztkarriere. 13 Euros.

Just got it. It is not a very thick book, only 140 pages, and not too scholarly either. But at least something. And there is a photo on the front cover showing among others Schenck, Pohl, Himmler and Rudolf Brandt (not too good resolution though).

I have heard that a very comprehensive book on Schenck (based on a doctorate) is scheduled to come out next year.
