Dr. Herbert Strickner
Born 1911. SD-Oa Nordost. Einsatzkommando ? (Polen, 1939). SD-Leitabschnitt Posen. RSHA.

Gerhard Folkerts

Harro Thomsen
Born 1911. Gestapo Danzig (1942). RSHA (1943).

Hi Simon !

Harro Thomsen (00.00.1911 - 00.00.1974). Chef Gestapo in Graudenz (Grudzi±dz). After war in camp for internees. He died in 1974.

Dr Herbert Strickner - Stellvertreter des Führers SD-Leitabschnitt Posen (Rudolf Höppner).
I know a anecdote about Strickner. When he traveled by tramway, he heard a conversation beetween 4 students - Pole. Strickner started fight Pole, and ejected Pole from tramway. Reason was prosaic: Pole spoke in polish, not in german ! This was famed case in Warthegau.

Maybe someone can look in the October 1944 SS-DAL.

I have the 10.34, 12.38, 4.42 and 11.44 SS-DAL, but cant find them there...

here some supplements:

Thomsen, Harro: since April 1939 with the Gestapo, firstly Stapostelle Hamburg-Harburg;

Strickner, Herbert Dr.: 00.06.1938 main official SD-functionary(Hauptamtlicher SD-Funktionär) im SD-Oberabschnitt Nordost in Tilsit and Königsberg. As expert for nationality he examined the population in the Wartheland for questions of racial prejudice. Since October 1942 in the RSHA, expert in the group III B Volkstum.

Reinholz, Wolfgang: Joined NSDAP in 1932 as schoolboy.Since 00.08.1940 in Amt III (SD-Inland).

It was indeed Hans Wadel, who was called up to the Waffen-SS in October 1944 (Stabskompanie I. / SS-Panzerregiment 2 / 2. SS-PD “Das Reich”, in 1945 in the SS-PHA)

SS-Hauptsturmführer (01.04.1941) Richard Reichert was SS-Führer der Gerichtsbarkeit (jurisdiction).

I have two question:

1. When exactly was Harro Thomsen in the Gestapo Danzig and what was his function there.

2. When was Harro Thomsen exactly in the Stapostelle Hamburg-Harburg ? And in which Function he had there ??

Who has a DoB/birthplace, SS- and partynumber and other info about this person??

Thanks for telling me this. Well, maybe they're wrong about this person on the internet. But this is what I've found about him and it's always worth checking out further.

But maybe there's someone else who knows this man so I'll see what comes up next.
