Hi

I have that a Michael Kneissel born 30-11-1891 in Munich served as commander of the guard battalion in Brno Czechoslovakia between 1941-45.He was tried and executed on 29th March 1947.Did see his rank of Hauptsturmfuhrer in a extradition folder but they are often wrong.

all the best Ron

Hello Ron,

In the first place thank you for you're info. I have two questions:

1. Is the place name realy "Brno" or is something missing ??

2. You're speaking about a "extradition folder", are more names in it and do you have this folder ?????

Thanks in advance again,

Mulisch

Hello Mulisch

Pretty sure its Brno.Under the Germans i believe it was Brunn. The folder was from the national Archives in America and it had some names of mainly gestapo men wanted by the Czech authorites.I did copy down the names.

warm regards Ron
