Hitler had many different adjutants for a variety of different functions. His chief adjutant was SA Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Brueckner who held this title from around 1922-1940. He was dismissed over a very petty incident involving another adjutant Max Wuensche.
Brueckner was replaced by Hitler's other main adjutants SS Obergruppenfuhrer Julius Schaub. Schaub acted as Hitler Factotum in just about every aspect of his private life. All adjutant technically were under his control -- although that was not always the case.
Othe adjutants included the following:
SS Ordenance Officers and SS Adjutants:
Ludwig Bahls -- 1938-39
Max Wuensche 1939-40
Hans George Schulze 1940-41
Hans Pfeiffer 1941-1942
Richard Schulze 1942-44
Fritz Darges 1943-44
Otto Guensche 1944-45
And there were military adjutants such as Von Below Hitler's Luftwaffe Adjutant. Rudolf Schmundt his army and chief military adjutant, Karl Jesco Von Puttkamer, Naval adjutant.
Albert Bormann --- Personal adjutant assigned to Hitle's personal office.
And the list goes on.
Bruno Gesche --- Head of his SS Fuhrerbegleitkommando
Erich Kempka --- SS chauffer
Karl Wihlm Krause -- head SS valet
Heinz Linge -- Head SS valet
etc etc.

Try using the search facility. You'll find this particular incident described here:Roderick wrote:Would you please give details about this fact?Mark Costa wrote:His chief adjutant was SA Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Brueckner who held this title from around 1922-1940. There are errors in the attributed listings of military ADCs.
Von Puttkamer was the Kriegsmarine ADC throughout the war.
Von Below was Luftwaffe ADC througout the war.
Major (on leaving, Generalleutnant) Gerhard Engel was Army (OKH) ADC 1938-1943. I do not have a note of his replacement, but remember from reading von Below's memoirs that the officer spent most of his time trying to extricate himself from the post.
General Schmundt was OKW ADC, the most senior military adjutant, until his death as a result of the July 1944 assassination attempt. He was succeeded by General Burgdorf, who remained in office until his disappearance 2 May 1945.

Was this Julius Schaub always present when Hitler met visitors?Mark Costa wrote:

Hitler's Adjutants: Borgmann
Hello:
I appreciate all the information provided on Heinrich Borgmann.
Awarded during Polish German war.
Hitler's Heer Adjutant
Wounded during the July 20, 1944 attack at Rastenberg.
Replaced.
Returns to duty.
Assigned to a Volksgenadier Division in the West.
Wounded in aircraft attack.
Dies Magdeburg Hospital.
* Edith Borgmann (Zwillinge) worked at the Reichschancellery and was killed in a bombing July 29, 1944. To the best of my knowledge the two were not related. Rumours that Heinrich or Edith Borgmann were seen and survived the war are incorrect.
** phonetic spelling Borchmann ( 16th SS FS Breslau)
