Thanks, Nigel! Laughter helps everything. And apologies to all on my fat-fingered typo "unknoswn."

Dr. Jur. Günther Kuhl.
Born on 14-12-1907 in Wuppertal-Barmen.
In 1928 he passed his Abitur.
After that he followed a study Rechtswissenschaften in Freiburg and Bonn.
In 1933 he joined the NSDAP(nr. ??)and the SA.
He also became a member of the NS-Rechtswahrerbund.
In 1935 he got his Promotion to Dr. Jur.
In 1937 he did the great juristische Staatsprüfung.
After that he worked for a short time as Strafrichter am Amtsgericht in
Wuppertal-Barmen.
Around 1938 he switched from the SA to the SS(nr. ??).
In 1938 he was promoted to SS-Rottenführer.
In 1939 he was promoted to SS-Obersturmführer bevorderd.
In 1940 he was promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer.
Around that time he was Regierungsassessor and employed within
the Gestapo in Hamburg.
From the end of 1942(officially from 1-1-1943)till ?? he was head(he succeeded Horst Freytag)from the Staatspolizeistelle in Braunschweig.
At that time he was Regierungsrat.
He was also working als Vertreter from the Staatspolizeistelle in Hamburg, but his most time was spend in Braunschweig.
In 1944 he got promoted to SS-Obersturmbannführer and to
Oberregierungsrat.
In 1948 a British militairy court found him guilty on warcrimes and convicted him to the death.

That's all I could find. If somebody could provide me with full promotiondates, his party- and SS-number and his place of death that would be highly appreciated.....

Greetings,
Mike
