I just noticed the discussing of Fritz Christen, What I have is the original "bescheinigung" of his Knightcross.
This is a kind of award what he became before he had the official award. I can tell you ,VERY INTERESTING.

I feel connected with the Flemish people(my father grandparents were Flemish)but not by using this greeting. There are much other ways to feel connected with people by using a greeting that was used by NSB and VNV, two parties that were really into the national-socialism.That makes us Flemish and Dutch people connect

You think so??? If you would say this to me I don't know what I should do!!! There are much better ways to say farewell to somebody then using this national socialistic greeting. If you belong to that camp it's maybe not so strange but be carefull to whom you use this greeting.and it's so a nice way to say farewell to someone!

You didn't hurt mine personally but I just wanted to tell you it could happen. Just be carefull with the things you say or the way you express yourself.I am very sorry If I hurt any bodies feelings

You see, that's what I mean. You're clearly not a rightwinger but with using the 'Hou Zee' greeting you could have convinced people you're. And as far as I can see you know very good what this greeting means and who used it in the wrong sense. I know some people that are also not NS or extreme-right but they're the swastika on their vest. If you would ask them why they wear that symbol on their vest they tell you they just like that symbol but they don't know exactly where it stood for.First of all, I'm totally not a National Socialist!
And second, I don't stretch my arms If I say goodby to somebody

It just happened and because it happened and the wounds are still pretty fresh you have to be carefull by using these symbols, especially when you're not NS or extreme-right. That was just my message and I even find it difficult to talk about but it's better to have an open mind about it then start screaming to each other.I find it a pitty that some symbols are raped by the national socialism.
