Gatternig is probably Dr. Erich Gatternig. He served with 'Hitlerjugend' according to my files so if he served with 'Wiking' this was a new piece of info as well.

I have more info as well on Officers of the 5.SS-"Wiking"

No it´s not SS-Stubaf Gatternig of SS-Pz.A.A.1 and SS-Pz.A.A.12 I mean.
I got a photo (of this man I mentioning) from SS-Stubaf Hans Günther Bernau a long
time ago, but I will check it later to day and mail the exact name.

I have a lot of more names for you, if you want I can post some more.

LOng time ago, When I searched my photos today I found a photo of a man that often are misstaken between Dr. Erich Gatternig and SS-Stubaf Kurt Gatttinger He was at the time og the photo Kdr of the II./SS-Art.Rgt. 5 Wiking, later he came to SS-Art.Schule Kienschlag. Died in 2007 and was after the war a politician in Austria.

I attach the photo of Gatternig as well.

Here is some info on SS-Stubaf. Helmut Heinze in SS-San.Abt. 5 MIA in 1944. If anyone have additional info on him feel free to share it.

I found two interessting doks i the SSO of Heinrich Amberger (1914 - 1943) and I thought I would share it with you all.

The list contains the cadre of the Officers for the SS-Btl. "Narwa" in 5. SS-Div. "Wiking"

Hello all

You can also ad the future RK holder Anton "Toni" Ameiser as part of the SS-Div. Wiking. He served in E./SS-Rgt- Westland between 1940-1941.
One more who made me surprised was his long service in different SS-Totenkopfstandarten. Well you learn something new every day.
