SS-Sturmbannführer Heinrich Möller

Postby Mikedc » 26 Feb 2005 19:41

SS-Sturmbannführer Heinrich Möller.
Between 7-7-1934 and 1-9-1942 commander of 50. SS-Standarte 'Nordschleswig'(HQ Flensburg).

Was he the same person as the later SS-Brigadeführer Hinrich Möller???

I saw some posts about this Möller-person on this forum but I couldn't find out if he ever had
this post with 50. SS-Standarte.

And because this is written down as Heinrich I thought I should ask you guys.
Greetings,
Mikedc

Hello Jérôme,

Thank you very much, that's what I tought already by investigating all the posts on this forum about H. Möller. There was no SS-Brigadeführer Heinrich Möller, his name was spelled as Hinrich.

But still the question remains, was this Hinrich Möller, promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer on 9-11-1944 according to your
info, commander of 50. SS-Standarte or not?? Because of he was, he should have been SS-Sturmbannführer already in 1934 or promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer between 1934 and 1942.
Otherwise, if this is Hinrich then he couldn't have been SS-Sturmbannführer in the period he was commander from this
SS-Standarte.

So hopefully I still can get an answer to that.

Thanks,
Mikedc

Mikedc,

Hinrich Möller, the later SS-Brigadeführer, was the commander of 50. SS-Standarte, indeed !! (But he was promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer in 1934).

Hello Dieter,

I also saw I made a typing-error, I indeed meant to write Heinrich and not Hinrich. Still, you solved it all and now I know that the later SS-Brigadeführer Hinrich Möller was SS-Sturmbannführer in 1934 and that he was commander of
50. SS-Standarte between 1934 and 1942.

And Heinrich Möller was promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer in 1944 like Jérôme said and he was never commander
of this SS-Standarte.

Okay, sounds all good. But because I couldn't find anything on Heinrich Möller on the net and this forum, I hope someone can provide me with a short bio of this officer.
I know the bio from Hinrich Möller is on the Brigadeführer CD-Rom from M. Miller and A. Schulz so I'll wait to find out more about him till I'm able to buy this CD-Rom.

Thanks again Dieter and Jérôme.

Well well, while I was typing my piece our dear friend and excellent researcher Phil posted his part.

So a big thank you goes out to Phil, this is highly appreciated of course. A bio from Hinrich Möller, this is more then
I asked for. But it's a great bio, thank you very much Phil.

Hi Phil,

as usual really great bio. Thanks a lot for it.

Can you tell me when Gustav Stolle and Hans Hinsch were the leaders of the 50. SS-Standarte??

Thanks in advance

Hello Ludger,

Stolle was commander 50. SS-Standarte from 1-1-1934 till 7-7-1934.

Hinsch was commander 50. SS-Standarte from 1-9-1942 till May 1945.

I got this info from The Axis History Factbook/Marcus Wendel.

I think his SS-number was 200.000 and not 318.000
I did found the following which made me doubt:
200 000, Heinrich MÖLLER, 30.12.1900, SS-Sturmbannführer, oraz SS-Sturmbannführer d.R. Waffen-SS - awans w dniu 09.11.1944 r.

And the ss-personalveränderungsblatt 09.11.1944/page 13 also has the number 200.000 for Heinrich Möller. And this Heinrich Möller was also promoted to SS-Sturmbannführer d.R. on 09.11.1944 according this personalveränderungsblatt.

Greetings, Mike
