Just a quick correction:
He was commanding the OTW till the end of the war,
not only till February 1945

Hi,
I wanted to add a few colour pictures of Harun el Raschid-Hintersatz ins his WW2 uniform.
I've taken the snapshots from a German "Spiegel TV" documentary on the Middle East (Spiegel TV- Von Krieg zu Krieg - Der Nahe Osten (2011)). You can find the documentary on YouTube. He appears in the documentary at minute 45:42.

Re: Harun el Raschid-Hintersatz
After receiving a huge amount of personal documents of the man himself I launched a website under www.harun-el-raschid-bey.de. There you will find the most reliable information about his life from birth to death. Feel free to add some more information - especially documents that could bring some light to the timeframe between january 1945 and may 1945! After years and years where the only visual of him was a low-quality photo I was able to bring a whole bunch of pictures in pristine quality. For 10 years we had film footage of him as commander of Osttürkischer Waffenverband and recently I discovered the whole film roll that gives us even more material in stunning colour quality!
Besides this I discovered even more film footage of him. All is pooled on the afore mentioned website.
Any help is welcome!

Re: Harun el Raschid-Hintersatz
Hi gentlemen,
these days I "celebrate" the 2nd anniversary of the start of my research regarding Wilhelm Harun-el-Raschid Hintersatz Bey.
As you probably know, I built a special website about the vita of that colourful personality some month ago.
Even after that long time, now and then I find new material to incorporate. Some trivial, some funny (if you understand german), some essential.
Recently I discovered the ceasefire with the italian resistance he signed in april 1945 and 3 or 4 days ago I came across a copy of a "Milli Türkistan" newspaper with photos taken in November '44. All is published on my website www.harun-el-raschid-bey.de already.
So, if you are interested in that person, it's a good idea to browse my website from time to time.
But the story isn't told in full until now so every help is very welcome in finding further documents to fill some gaps.
