Theodor von Eupen
Theodor von Eupen
Hello
I wonder could anyone tell me the fate of the penal labour camp Treblinka I commandant Theodor von Eupen?
I've searched and searched the internet, but there doesn't seem to be too many references to him. Some are in German though, but as far as I can read German, none of those doesn't seem to be offering the answer to the question, what happened to him?
I'm interested as me and my fiancé traveled few weeks in Poland, visiting the camps of Belzec, Sobibor, Majdanek, Treblinka and Stutthof. From all of the other commandants I can find a lot of references, but not from Eupen. Perhaps as Treblinka I was a penal labour camp and such not very well known even today?

Hello, thanks for the link and documents.
However, the link seem to be pointing me http://www.kintera.org ?, but from the documents I can seen that Eupen was killed 13.12 - 14.12.1944 while fighting against partisans?
So that's an answer to my question. Thank you.

Re: Theodor von Eupen
Any picture of Theodor von/van Eupen available? Or any suggestions on where to look for one?
