Dear all

I have 3 different times, which Pütz was in Rowno,. What is correct?

8.1941 - 18.9.1943
8.1941 - 2.10.1943
ab 3.2.1942

I have also 2 times, which Pütz was in Lublin. What is correct?
9.10.1943 - 9.9.1944
11.1943 - 7.1944

I have 3 different posts of him in Posen ans also 2 different times. What is correct?

Leiter SD-Abschnitt
Leiter Geheime Staatspolizei
KdS

9.9.1944 - 27.1.1945
from 7.1944

Thank you very much for an answer.

Greetings

Putz must be K.d.S In Lublin till luly. 24.7.1944 Lublin has been „freed up” by Russians.

I also have one question:

It is Stapo? In Düsseldorf was only Inspektorat Sipo u. SD and Staatspolizeileitstelle.

As KdS in Posen Pütz would have been, as inherent in his title, the "commander" of the Gestapo, Kripo and SD. The SD-Abschnittsführer would have been Leiter III on his staff,
Gestapo - Leiter IV and Kripo - Leiter V.

This is how it generally worked - there will have been exceptions.

Thanks. One question else: why in Poznañ in same time was double leadership Sipo and SD? According DAL 1.10.1944 Putz was K.d.S, according to DAL 9.11.44 Damzog was I.d.S. Who was real chief?

Succinctly put, Ernst Damzog was BdS not IdS. IdS regions became BdS as the frontlines entered their territory.
He was in charge of all Sipo and SD affairs/matters for whole of Reichsgau Wartheland.

Karl Pütz was the Kommandeur (local commander) der Sicherheitspolizei and SD, responsibile for all of Regierungsbezirk Posen and from the Regierungsbezirk Hohensalza, the Stadtkreis and Landkreise Altburgund, diefurt, Eichenbrück, Hohensalza, Gnesen and Mogilno.

Best regards,

Peter

Does anyone know why the job of killing Jews in Rovno [in preparation for Koch's arrival] was given to von Oelhafen's BdO, not Ling's detachment of Ek 5, which became the nucleus of the KdS?
