SS-Stubaf. Paul-Albert Kausch

#1

Post by Lasse » 06 Aug 2005, 16:36

Hi!
Im in need of some help with SS-Stubaf. Paul-Albert Kausch, accordning to his RK vorschlag, he joined the SS in 1933, and if I understood it all correct he joined the LSSAH, but did he join before 9 November? (So he in that case joined the Stabwache Adolf Hitler), and what regiment/abteilung where he in before he got transfered to Wiking in June, 1942?
And the last question: When did he attend at Bad-Tölz?

Best regards:

Hi,

I believe Kausch attended Junkerschule at Braunschweig 1935/1936 (source: Schulze-Kossens 'Führernachwuchs' p222).

One piece at a time !

Hi!
So he was at the SS-junkerschüle Braunschweig and not Bad-Tölz?
Also, why was this thread moved to this area, the thread is about a person, and therefore in my eyes a biographical thread?

Hi
You will see if you read the criteria for the forum sections that this is the only place for SS bio details

Hi!
Both of you, thanks!
The picture is great! :)

So his carreer:
1933: SS-VT
1935-35: SS-junkerschule Braunschweig.
Then SS-VT again?
Then 1939, did he go into the LSSAH division if I understood it correct
June 1942: Wiking
October 1943: Nordland, Hermann von Salza (Untill the end of the war)

Is that correct?

Cancelled by Veit Scherzer. The oakleaves were never presented to Kausch. Kausch was member of the OdR.

I looked him up on John Moore's Führerliste, and his Dienstlaufbahn indicates that he was assigned to a Course for Armored Battalion Commanders on January 23, 1943. Another page in his file indicates that the course was from March 16 to March 19 of the same year (the wording is abbreviated awkwardly in the DLB, and the handwriting is sloppy in the other page, so I wrote the course in English, but I'm sure you know what is intended). I presume that the course actually began on January 23, and perhaps the final exams were held during the latter dates.
